Kelly Services is recruiting for a Member Service Representative. The position is located in East Hanover at a large Pharmaceutical company. The individual will be working in the company's Credit Union. The position is a long-term temporary assignment through Kelly Services. The hours are from 8:00am-5:00 pm.

Ensure all member transactions (in person, via phone, etc.) are performed within approved credit union policies/procedures and in a pleasant, efficient manner
• Provide other financial services (stop payments, check reordering, wire transfers, etc.) requested by members within their ability. The Member Service Representative will consult with their manager for requests they are unable to process
• Assume responsibility for teller cash drawer and prove without difference daily
• Receive checks and cash for deposit to accounts, verify amounts, examine checks for proper endorsement/validity, and enter deposits into computer records
• Receive all loan payments, verify amount due matches, and enter into computer records
• Cash checks and process withdrawals after verification of signatures and member balance
• Handle requests from members for transfers of funds. Assure all transfers to/from accounts are made by account owner and account information is kept confidential
• Place appropriate holds on deposits as required and disclose to members • Promote and cross-sell other products and services
• Assume responsibility for teller area security; including access to the area, teller drawers, Money Orders, Travelers Cheques, etc.
• Report equipment problems to supervisor • Check night depository and ensure all transactions are performed within the same day
• Assume responsibility for member privacy
• Accept loan applications and answer basic loan inquiries
• Sort incoming mail • Answer incoming member questions on ALL products and services. Member Service Representative I is NOT expected to assist members with complex questions; instead, they should direct the call to the appropriate party (Complex Questions Only).
• Investigate and resolve member issues
• Perform file maintenance and account maintenance as needed
• File and maintain accurate records of pending, open and closed member accounts
• Prepare storage boxes with appropriate files for records retention
• Assume responsibility for wire transfer requests and ensure they are scheduled in a timely manner
• Ensure all necessary logs are completed accurately • Attend meetings and assigned training as required
• Assume responsibility for other assigned projects and/or job duties
• Assist in other departments as necessary
